We built this because our own reels were getting captioned wrong.
Every ASR we tried either translated our Hinglish into formal Hindi, or sanitized it into broken English. Neither sounded like us. Neither sounded like India.
The bet
If 600M Indians are speaking Hinglish online, the caption layer for short-form video shouldn't be built in San Francisco. It should be built here, routed through Indian speech patterns, billed in rupees, and optimized for CapCut — the editor most creators here already use.
What we believe
- Verbatim > "correct". Code-switching is the language.
- Brand names matter. Glossaries should be a default, not a feature.
- If our pipeline fails, you don't pay. Full stop.
- Pricing in ₹. No FX nonsense.
